Interior Room Design Ideas

Are you often stumped by interior room design? Do you welcome ideas that not only look fabulous but that also make your life so much easier? Do you yearn for a comfortable but stylish bathroom? Do you find it rather difficult, if not impossible, to come up with great bathroom decorating ideas? Do you need the bathrooms in your home to be functional and easy to clean? There are many different approaches for redecorating your bathroom. Which design you decide on is a matter of preference, or is it? In a sense, this is true but which design you decide on also has a lot to do with the size of your bathroom and the size of your family. Is the room a full bath or a half bath? Let's take a look at the different options we have: · Traditional bathrooms will usually be in style for years to come. The reason for this is that they use classic colors in the paint as well as in the ceramic tile and deeper bathtubs. Color schemes can range from neutral to very bright. The floors are generally tile and colored to complement the walls. Fixtures are neutral, sinks and tubs are porcelain, windows are covered with shutters or wooden blinds, and lighting consists of metal cased fixtures. · Luxury bathrooms look spacious, open, and often use a lot of glass in them. Luxury bathrooms can also be predominantly wood for a very rich look that is complimented with neutral chocolate or beige colors. Often, luxury bathrooms can be created with a combination of colors such as a darker color mixed with white or light gray. The light fixtures are elegant and the bathroom fixtures are exclusive. The accents consist of various candles and fragrances.

Contemporary bathrooms are sleek with a cutting edge design. They should never be cluttered. This style usually features a more neutral color scheme that consists of earth tones, grays and whites, often accented with a splash of black. The room will pop if you paint an accent wall. You should place an emphasis on the lighting and the textures in the room. · Transitional bathrooms come alive when you combine a traditional and a modern bathroom together. This concept is ideal for many since a lot of older homes come with the traditional design but the owner wants to create a new look without having to break the bank. Claw foot tubs and a pedestal sink would totally complete this room. Smaller bathrooms would do well with polished marble floors and walls, making the room appear larger. The idea is to create a balanced look between modern and traditional.
